Renee is a contemporary Christian music singer, songwriter, and pianist. She has been writing songs for over 30 years. In March of 2020, Renee’s beloved husband, Doug, went to be with the Lord. Renee had the privilege of caring for her husband who had been diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia several years prior. After Doug’s passing, God began to give Renee songs again. Her heart’s desire is to comfort others in the same way she has been comforted through her music and to share the grace that was given to her during those difficult years. Renee’s music is heart-felt, meaningful and points people to Christ who is our only hope. Her debut album, “Hope On” is a compilation of songs that will comfort your heart, mind, and soul. Renee has also released three Christmas singles, "Born to Die", "Living Word" and "One Wintry Night"
In November of 2023, the Lord sent Renee a wonderful man named Pete who also lost his spouse. I would love to share our story of “parallel lives” with you here.

I would be amiss to not acknowledge and thank some people who had a big part to play in this album project:
• Thank you to Robbie and Jacob at Ham Bone Productions in Lynchburg, VA. Your expertise made the quality of this album top notch.
• Thank you to thank David Hollandsworth (@DavidHollandsworth.com) for
composing the orchestration for a number of the songs. Your creativity added so much and I appreciate your heart that was so willing to help.
• Thank you, Sarah Engel, for playing the cello on three of my songs which added a beautiful depth and richness to them.
• I also want to thank Mindy Sargent (@MindySargentPhotography.com) for taking all of the photos on my website including the photo on my album cover. Your help over the last almost two years has been incredible and greatly appreciated!
• Thank you to my daughter, Brittany Marsh, who sang harmony with me on four of the songs. You’re always been my cheerleader and encouraged me many times along the way as we were working on this album.
• A special thank you to my sister-in-law, Rashael Jones, from @RashaelJones. Studios who designed my new brand logo, this beautiful website as well as the CD jacket and cover. You went above and beyond the call of duty and I could not have released this album without your help.
• Last, but certainly not least, I want to thank the Lord Jesus who has enabled me to finish this project and provided just the right people to come alongside and help me.
This album is dedicated to my wonderful late husband, Doug, who always loved to hear me sing. It’s impossible to separate my music from the story. May God use the music and the story for His glory!!
